Bee Active and support nature in Bath's parks
The ‘Bee Active’ group get stuck into habitat creation, gardening and access improvements across Bath’s impressive range of public spaces, from formal parks to herb-rich meadows, woodlands and ponds.
Join us to create parks loved by people and wildlife.
Do you?
- Love nature
- Crave more time outdoors
- Want to make a difference
All while learning new skills! If so, this is the perfect volunteer opportunity for you.
What does it involve?
Every Thursday, 10am-1pm, we will make space for wildlife in our urban parks, creating wildlife-friendly features like log piles and dead hedges, wildflower meadows, ponds, woodland areas and hedgerows.
Each week we will be at a different park in Bath, so you will get to know new areas of the city and explore parks you might not normally.
You don't need any experience, just your passion, energy and a willingness to learn.
I'm interested. What's next?
Join us for a taster session on Thursdays, 10am-1pm in one Bath’s parks.
Meet Carol and Mali, get a feel for the work, ask any questions and hear what you could be involved in.
