Help make Redcatch Park more inclusive
We're bringing together Disabled people and carers from BS4 to make Redcatch Park & Community Garden more inclusive and accessible.
Making parks more accessible for everyone

With funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, we are working with Disabled people and carers across Bristol and Bath to make local parks more accessible.
36% of households in Knowle are home to at least one Disabled person and 9% are carers.
It is important that local parks are as inclusive as possible.
Community Led Park Access Assessments

In 2024 and 2025, we worked with Disabled people and carers to make a plan to improve Hartcliffe Millennium Green and Withywood Park. With the Friends of Groups, we have already raised funds and made improvements to the parks.
Now we are working with Redcatch Community Garden and Redcatch Park Friends of Group to the same at Redcatch Park.
The park has huge potential for the local community and we want to find out how we can make sure as many people can access it as possible.
