Meet our health team

If everyone used parks regularly, the NHS could save £2.1 billion every year. We know parks are good for us and this team lead projects that help people get out into parks for their health and wellbeing.

Meet Judy

Judy

Judy is our Health Network Lead. She has over 30 years experience working within Local Authorities, the charitable sector and the NHS. She is a registered Nutritional Therapist and originally worked as a solicitor. Judy leads our Wild and Well network, getting together groups and organisations in Hartcliffe, Withywood and Stockwood, to explore how we can support people to use parks more.

In her spare time Judy enjoys good food, Nordic Walking in local parks and walking long distance footpaths as well as spending time with family and friends.

Judy says, "Our parks are fundamental to the health and wellbeing of us all."

Meet Sara

Sara

Sara is our Health & Community Lead. She has a background in delivering one-to-one and group mental health support interventions. She is particularly interested in using nature to support health and wellbeing.

Sara leads our Green Social Prescribing project, Roots to Wellbeing. We have weekly sessions in Hartcliffe, Withywood, Eastville, Stockwood and Twerton.

In her spare time Sara enjoys cooking, live music gigs with friends and spending time in the sun.

Sara says, "Parks offer an escape from the stresses of modern life and a gateway to re-connect with the natural world."
