£80,714 to support more nature in Bath's parks
We are delighted to announce we have received funding over two years to make a permanent difference to Bath’s parks and community health and wellbeing.
Boosting Bath's biodiversity
£80,714 from the Neighbourhood Portion of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) for Bath will enable us to expand our work at Brickfields Park across all of Bath by working with local people to boost the City’s biodiversity in 18 parks.
The team will lead and support weekly work parties to plant wildflower meadows, trees and hedgerows, create wildlife ponds and much more.
When parks are teeming with nature and cared for, people visit more and community health and wellbeing is transformed.
Get involved
Local people are a vital part of the project! We will support volunteers and Friends of Groups throughout to build a strong and skilled volunteer base.
