Help us make Withywood Park more inclusive

We're bringing together Disabled people and carers from BS13 to make Withywood Park a more inclusive and accessible space.

Making parks more accessible for everyone

Colin wheelchair HMG

With funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, we are working with Disabled people and carers across Bristol and Bath to make local parks more accessible.

46% of households in Hartcliffe and Withywood are home to at least one Disabled person. The area also has less green spaces than other parts of the city.

It is really important that the local parks are as inclusive as possible.

Community led Park Access Assessments

In 2024, we worked with Disabled people and carers to make a plan to improve Hartcliffe Millennium Green. With the Friends of Group, we have already raised funds and made improvements to the park.

Now we want to do the same at Withywood Park. The park has huge potential for the local community and we want to find out how we can make sure everyone can enjoy it.
