Knowledge Sharing Lunch: Rethinking Access to Parks and Green Spaces
Our new research by Your Park Bristol & Bath and the University of Bath reveals that many people from ethnic minority communities are less likely to use local parks, not because they live too far away, but because parks often do not feel they are safe, welcoming or designed for them.
We are hosting a Knowledge Exchange Lunch to share our findings, listen to different views and lived experienced from the community and talk together about what needs to change.
We intend to turn this research into practical actions that can improve our urban green spaces for everyone.
