The NHS could save £2.1 billion every year if everyone used parks regularly
This Mental Health Awareness Month, we've teamed up with Sense and Bristol Walk Fest, to share new ways you can help local people use parks more.
Parks for Wellbeing
Whether you pop in for a walk on your lunch break, or commit hours to volunteering with a local group, spending time in parks is good for your physical and mental health.
If you've heard about Green Social Prescribing or you are interested in exploring how we can help more people use parks for health, join Judy Gowenlock, our Health Network Lead to discuss.

Sensory Walks Training
We've teamed up with Sense to bring Sensory Walks Training to Bristol.
Sensory walks allow you to use your senses to connect with your surroundings whilst you stay active. By working with Sense, we're ensuring walks are designed for people with complex disabilities, but can be enjoyed by anyone. Join us to find out how to design a sensory walk for your park.
