Our values

Discover the beliefs, identities and ways of being we believe in and that drive everything we do.

Our beliefs

We believe in the importance and power of connections above all else.

  • A lack of connectivity (between different stakeholders and their plans; between communities and their parks; between thinking about mental health and the environment; and so on) is at the root of many of the problems we seek to tackle
  • What we do is, at its heart, about connecting things and people to each other
  • We do this by forming strong partnerships built on trust - delivering with (not for or to communities)
  • Our team thrives on connection - we are closely bonded (personally and in the work it does!)

Our identities

Our people are nurturing of people, the environment and communities, taking an assets-based approach to everything they do.

We are experts in our work, which is built on a foundation of evidence and reasoning.

Our ways of being

Warmth - we are friendly, approachable and we care about others. This is evident during programme delivery, and in interactions between our team.

Collaboration - Everything we do, we do in partnership with other organisations and with communities. These organisations and communities trust us to work with them.

Flexibility - we react and adapt to change, centring impact and remaining flexible about how to achieve this. Our culture is one of openness and curiosity, in which asking ‘why?’ and ‘how?’ is encouraged.

Resilience - ‘Getting things done’ underpins our success. Constrained by funding, time and other resources, together we find a way to overcome challenges and deliver our mission.

Ambition - we are bold and optimistic about the impact of our work, and the opportunity to create and sustain meaningful change at scale.
