Every other year, we ask which volunteers and park groups have made a real difference to their park and community. We celebrate and recognise their contributions through awards and bring people together to network and celebrate through an event.

Join us to celebrate
We are delighted to bring volunteers from across Bristol & Bath together again to celebrate the efforts of all park volunteers through an awards ceremony at the Bristol Beacon in February 2024.

Individual Awards
We invite nominations for individual volunteers who have made an outstanding contribution to their green space and local community.
You can nominate people across three categories:
- Volunteer of the Year - People aged 25 and over
- Young Adult Volunteer of the Year - People aged 16-24 years
- Young Volunteer of the Year - People aged under 16 years

Group Awards
We are inviting nominations for groups of volunteers that have run projects in their park across the following three categories:
- Nature Lovers - Celebrating projects that have transformed their park for nature, creating and enhancing habitats that support more biodiversity in our cities.
- Community Connectors - Celebrating projects that have brought people together from all sections of the community, focusing on inclusion, helping people feel welcome and fostering a sense of belonging
- Happy and Healthy - Celebrating projects that have improved local people’s health and wellbeing by getting people outdoors, being active and connecting with others.
