Bee Active and support nature in Bath's parks
We're looking for volunteers to join our Bee Active nature volunteering sessions in Bath’s parks on Thursdays 10am-12pm.
The Bee Active group get stuck into habitat creation, gardening and access improvements across Bath’s impressive range of parks, from formal parks to herb-rich meadows, woodlands and ponds.
The role
Our Bee Active nature volunteering programme is transforming parks in Bath for nature and making them more welcoming for everyone. We are looking for people who will enjoy volunteering in Bath’s parks. With your help we want to make a lasting impact, taking action for nature in response to the climate and ecological emergencies.
Our Bee Active volunteers take part in weekly sessions to help create and maintain new wildflower meadows, plant trees, plant bulbs and establish much-needed habitats for pollinators.

About you
Our volunteers love nature, or want to learn more about it. They enjoy being out in the fresh air and enjoy working as part of a small team.
You will be free on Thursdays, 10am-1pm.
Each week we will be at a different park in Bath, so you will get to know new areas of the city and explore parks you might not normally.
You don't need any experience, just your passion, energy and a willingness to learn.
I'm interested. What's next?
If you are interested, complete the volunteer application form and then join us for a taster session.
