Park Champions are crucial

Team days hero

Too many people and animals remain confined to concrete, with fewer safe spaces to breathe, move and connect.

Parks support health, biodiversity, climate resilience and community connection. But urban nature is under pressure and long term investment in parks remains too low. This has resulted in the people who could benefit most being least likely to access parks including Disabled people, unpaid carers and people from ethnic minority backgrounds.

Park Champions help change this by joining together to support practical, visible improvements that help parks deliver more for people and wildlife.

Park Champions achieve measurable outcomes
